Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen. It is served from the Nürnberg data centre.

When you visit the website, information transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically: the address accessed, date and time, amount of data transferred, status message, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address. This data is technically necessary to deliver the page and serves operational security.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. This data is not combined with other data sources.

Contacting me

If you contact me by email or phone, I process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on my legitimate interest in responding.

I delete this data once the matter has been concluded, unless statutory retention periods apply. Retention obligations under German commercial and tax law (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO) remain unaffected.

Consulting and project engagements

In the course of consulting, project and interim engagements, I process data of my clients and their contact persons: names, contact details, contract and billing data, and project-related information.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for performing the contract, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for legal obligations, in particular under commercial and tax law, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where processing is necessary to protect legitimate interests.

Where I process personal data on behalf of a client who is the controller, for example when automating their processes, this is based on a separate data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.

Fonts

The fonts used are delivered together with the website. No connection is made to third-party servers, such as Google Fonts, when you visit the site; your IP address is not transmitted to any font provider.

Automation calculator

The automation calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs are neither transmitted nor stored.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set any cookies that are not required for its operation. Your usage behaviour is not analysed, you are not tracked across websites, and no advertising networks are integrated. That is why there is no cookie banner.
